Limitations and Exceptions
While we strive to honor all data rights requests, there are certain limitations:
- Legal Obligations: We must retain certain data for tax, accounting, and legal compliance (typically 7 years for financial records)
- Active Transactions: Data related to pending transactions or disputes may need to be retained until resolution
- Security and Fraud Prevention: Some data may be retained to prevent fraud and protect service security
- Anonymized Data: Data that has been fully anonymized and cannot be linked back to you may be retained for analytics
- Third-Party Rights: We cannot delete data that is owned by or affects the rights of third parties
- Technical Limitations: Some data in backups may take up to 90 days to be fully removed from all systems

Is there a fee to exercise my data rights?▼
No, exercising your data rights is completely free. We do not charge any fees for access, correction, deletion, or other data rights requests.
How long does it take to delete my account?▼
Account deletion is immediate, but complete removal of all data from our systems (including backups) can take up to 30 days. Transaction records are retained for 7 years for legal compliance.
Can I recover my account after deletion?▼
No, account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your credits, images, and all data will be permanently deleted. We recommend downloading your data before deletion.
What happens to my unused credits if I delete my account?▼
Unused credits are forfeited upon voluntary account deletion and are non-refundable. We recommend using or requesting a refund (within 7 days of purchase) before deleting your account.
How do I opt-out of marketing emails?▼
Click the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email, or update your email preferences in Account Settings. Note: You'll still receive essential service emails (receipts, security alerts).
Can I request data about someone else?▼
No, you can only request your own personal data. For legal guardians or representatives, please contact us with proper documentation.
